Photography Session Retainer (Family, Newborns & More)

Photos are delivered within 7 days of final payment. 3 days for 33 min session, 4 days for 44, 5 days for 55 and so on.
**Please note that we do share photos from our clients’ on our website, and socials, however, should you not want any photos or some photos shared, we completely respect your privacy, just let us know!

33-second video available for modelling, creative portraits, all maternity solo packages, and headshot packages.
66-second video available for boudoir, modelling, headshots, and love packages (add 30 minutes to your session time)
99-second video available for boudoir, modelling, love, and family packages (add 60 minutes to your session time)
Retrieval Fee – Retrieve photos from our hard drive if available anytime. If a client submits retouching requests after the specified deadline or requests additional edits after their session has been completed and archived, a retrieval fee may apply. This covers locating and retrieving the original files from storage, preparing and sending them to the retoucher, processing the requested edits, and re-archiving the session. Retrieval is subject to the photos still being available.
Rush Fee – Need your retouched photos sooner? For $33 per photo, you can request priority retouching and receive your selected images faster than our standard turnaround time. Rush requests are subject to availability and must be confirmed in advance.
Set Up Fee – For photography sessions held at the client's location that require professional studio equipment, lighting, and backdrops. This fee covers transporting the equipment, setting everything up, and taking it down after the session. Please allow approximately 20 additional minutes for setup and takedown, separate from your booked photography time.
Extra Person – Add an additional person to your photography session beyond the number included in your package. This includes an extra 11 minutes of photography time, 11 additional photos, and 1 extra professionally retouched image.
Extra Scene / Outfit – Want more variety in your photos? Add an additional outfit, background, or scene beyond what is included in your package. This includes an extra 11 minutes of photography time, 11 additional photos, and 1 extra professionally retouched image.
Reschedule Fee – We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations happen! You may reschedule your session at no additional cost with at least 48 hours' notice. Rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a $111 fee, as last-minute cancellations are difficult to fill. Same-day cancellations or no-shows without legitimate proof of an emergency will require a new retainer to rebook. Please note that a new appointment may take several weeks to become available.
Newborn Props – Personalize your newborn photography session with our collection of adorable props, backdrops, baskets, buckets, outfits, and themed setups. Choose from different colours, styles, and creative concepts to make your baby's first photos even more special. All props and setups are subject to availability and must be arranged before your session.

The not-so-fine print
this is a retainer only, the remaining half will be due before receiving the photos, either through this link, or e-transfer.

retouch requests will take 7 days.
retainer is NON-refundable in case of a no-show or cancelling the day of . You will have to pay again to secure your new booking date. Unless proof is provided due to an emergency.
please note that newborns are unpredictable. And although I aim to photograph them while they are asleep so I can get them in more cute positions, if your baby is not sleeping during the session, they will be photographed on their backs awake.
If you choose an outdoor session in the fall, your session is NOT dependent on the weather. We live in Vancouver and we all know how unpredictable the weather can be. If conditions are extreme, the session will be moved indoors, either at the photographer’s home studio or in client’s home. If you wish to reschedule because of the weather, there will be a $55 fee.
all clients must sign a contract that includes a model release (permission to use photos for portfolio) prior to the session. Contract will be sent on day of your session on an iPad via Adobe Sign. If canceled less than 48 hours, there will be a $55 rescheduling fee unless proof of an emergency can be provided.

all files will be given in JPEG through wetransfer.com platform which will expire in 7 days. DOWNLOAD all the photos upon receiving the link
NO RAW FILES are given. Unless spoken and agreed to prior to the session, please note releasing RAW files are $2222 and release the license and all use to you.
